He preached in the Tennessee State Prison for 6 1/2 years before accepting his first pastorate at the West Maui Church of God in Lahaina, Maui Hawaii. He moved on to Grove, Oklahoma and then to Brownsville, Tennessee. After serving as a pastor there, he and his family moved to Baxter, Tennessee and enjoyed their time there. He has pastored the Hiwassee Church of God, Waynesboro Church of God (served as District Overseer there) and then was asked to serve as the State Youth Director for Alaska/British Columbia from 1994-1999. He then pastored in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania. He moved to Spring City, Tennessee in 2000 where he pastored for almost 6 years and saw a tremendous growth in attendance and finances. While at Spring City, with Pastor Nolan's leading, the church built new facilities on 13 acres. In 2005, Pastor Nolan was able to go and preach in several Romanian churchs all over Ireland. They also visited the main work of the Church of God in Dublin, Ireland where Rev. Nick Park is the pastor/State Overseer for this area. He moved to Clarksville on October 16, 2006. He is a talented singer, and musician. He plays the guitar, lead guitar and the bass. Pastor Nolan is a true man of God and is a wonderful minister of the Gospel.
Sister Nolan is a gifted and anointed teacher. She taught the adult Sanctuary class in Alaska, Pennsylvania and at Spring City. She uses everyday experiences and some humor in her teaching. She wrote the curriculum "God's Little Lambs" while at Waynesboro Church of God and many churches still use the curriculum today. While in Alaska, it was translated into Spanish. She has served as Women's Ministries President, served on Tennessee Girls Clubs Board, Alaska/BC Girls Clubs Coordinator, District Women's President and as a pastor's wife, and has served as Business Administrator/Administrative Assistant for many of the churches they have pastored. She plays the piano, keyboard, sings and is involved in church and outside activities. She also started her own business, "I DO" WEDDINGS. Together with Pastor Nolan, they have done over 125 weddings. She can plan events from 1 - 200 with no problem.
God has blessed the church with Pastor Nolan's direction. He has a vision to see the church grow beyond the '4 walls.' He shares his heart and the heart of God when he brings the messages. Pastor Nolan uses a sense of humor to get the point across.
